Office 365 Email on Android Device using Android 5.1 OS

There are many different versions of Android. We document the base version released by Google, so your device might have a slightly different set of fields.
- Tap Settings.
- Tap Add Account.
- Tap Exchange ActiveSync.
- Enter your Email address and Password. Tap Next.
- In Exchange server. Enter outlook.office365.com.
- Select Use secure connection (SSL). Tap Next.
- Select the Account settings you want to use, and then tap Next.
- When prompted about the security update, tap OK.
- Tap Activate.
Return to your home screen and open the Email app to see your email messages.
To make sure you can send messages, compose an email and send it to yourself.
(some older versions of Android)
- IF you need to click "Manual Setup button"
- Domain\username is your <your email address>
- Password:
- Enter your password Exchange Server: outlook.office365.com
- CHECK “Use secure connection (SSL) Accept any security messages.
- IF you need Outgoing server name
- Enter your password Outgoing Exchange Server: smtp.office365.com
- CHECK “Use secure connection (SSL) Accept any security messages.
- and the port number is 587
